Delay in Flights to Fiji from Hong Kong

It is with a heavy heart that I receive an email from Air Pacific confirming that the flights from Hong Kong to Fiji have had their start date pushed back from mid-June to the beginning of December.

There is just not enough demand at the moment to launch a new route and they are going to push Fiji a lot more to the locals in Hong Kong and also to Europeans.

The new Hong Kong route would mean that people will be able to avoid both the horrors of immigration in the USA and have their bags checked all the way through to Nadi when flying via LA and not have to spend the night in Seoul when flying on Korean Air.

There are also lots of great connections with flights from the UK and so it just opens up the options for people flying to Fiji.

If you have a look at the H.I.S. website http://www.his-euro.co.uk/english/tariff/aus_nz_fj/index.htm#fj you will see that the cheapest way to get to Fiji is still on Korean Air with a lead in of £801 for a good portion of the year. This includes a night in Seoul provided by the airline with breakfast and transfers on your way back. You can even fly business class for around £2,500

There are various other options and whatever you want, I’m sure we’ll be able to help at a price you can afford.
Any questions then please email me or call on 020 7484 3337.
