Call for help from all Tribe Members who have visited Vorovoro!!

Hi, my name is Sam and I am based in Brighton (UK). I met Team Fiji, Ben and some of the Tribewanted Members on a delightfully sunny day in July at Hampton Court, it was great to meet the tribe and have a taste of Vorovoro in London. Sadly I have not made it over to Fiji as I have been studying for 2 years, but I would like to ask those of you who have been lucky enough to visit Vorovoro if you can share your experience as part of my MSc research.
What’s it all about?
I am currently completing an MSc in Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies. For my thesis I am researching the relationship between travel experiences and our attitudes to sustainability. As someone who loves the experience of travel, people, places and other cultures I am exploring whether our attitudes to sustainability and the way we live can be influenced by these experiences.
Having been part of the Tribewanted Vorovoro experience it would be great if you can take part in this study. It will only take 5-10 minutes to complete the survey, so if you’ve got time before the next Christmas party your thoughts would be much appreciated. Just click on the link below and away you go.
If you want to read a bit more about the background behind it see below.
Otherwise, thanks for taking part and enjoy the holidays,
Sam
Background
Climate change, global warming, the environment and sustainability now make headline news every day and it is widely accepted that it affects us all. Over the last few weeks world leaders have been meeting in Copenhagen at the biggest environmental meeting in history in the hope of achieving a worldwide agreement on how to tackle this.
However, one of the biggest challenges is how this translates to us as individuals. What is sustainability? What impact do we have on the environment? What can we do? Can we make a difference?
This research will help answer these questions and understand what impact travel experiences can potentially have on attitudes to sustainability.
